In addition, most Robertson chairs feature our time tested Dura-Last fastening system for enhanced structural integrity and easy maintenance. Standard Warranty:
The original purchaser of Robertson built furniture is protected against defective workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase shown on our commercial invoice. We will replace or repair this furniture at our option, should it prove defective, free of charge, during the above stated period, provided the furniture or defective portion is returned promptly as directed, charges prepaid. Customer assumes responsibility for normal wear and tear. This agreement excludes all products or components that in the opinion of Robertson Furniture have been subject to negligent use, misuse, modification, or improper installation. Warranty on upholstery material is not covered by Robertson, but is covered from the upholstery mill under their warrant only. Robertson will accept no responsibility for the durability of Customer’s Own Material (C.O.M).
Care & Maintenance:
Periodic maintenance is necessary to ensure long product life. Please instruct the end user to regularly inspect glides, structural joints, corner blocks, welds and other points of stress. Use hand tools to check the secureness of mechanical fasteners, which can loosen under normal use. If you encounter cracked or broken welds, cracked laminate, splintered wood, or general instability, remove furniture from service. Repair or replace using only factory authorized parts and methods. For routine cleaning of finishes, vinyl and laminates, use a solution of mild soap and warm water. Wipe surface dry with a clean soft cloth.
